I am shocked that such a thing happened. I shouldn't be-- that's the natural consequence for violating priestsly promises so blatantly. But I'm shocked. It's sad that I'm shocked. I should expect such a thing. And I also wonder: how do so many dissident homosexuals -- not faithful Catholics, but dissidents-- manage to get ordained in the first place?
