Dear Pro-Lifers: Now is the time to make your plans for the Ottawa March for Life.
Last year our numbers were a little down. We had 23 000 marchers instead of 25 000.
I think it's really important that we mobilize a lot of people to show up so that we can show our strength.
I'm especially concerned about those who have jobs. I know that sometimes it's tough to get a day off.
But if you can take the day off to attend the March for Life, then do it.
Plan for it now. Think about who you might ask to switch shifts with. Think about when you have to ask Human Resources for the day off and do it at the earliest time.
Don't wait until the week before and tell yourself: oh no, my request for a vacation day won't be approved in time.
If you need to travel, make plans now. Many communities have buses traveling to the March for Life. Campaign Life Coalition keeps a list.
Don't wait until the buses fill up to get a seat. And if they are filled up, think about alternate transportation.
Let's make this the biggest, most successful March for Life yet and keep building on the momentum of past years. We need every pro-lifer to get out there.
