The commenters raised many valid points.
My point is that this strange man is trying to touch her. Gee, you think that might have something to do with it?
Perhaps if she got to know the priest, she might be more open to having him put his hands on her head.
In the Latin Rite, I do not believe her "no", by itself, is sufficient to stop a baptism, but I agree with the commenter who asked: what's he supposed to do, wrestle with her? If she's not going to co-operate, then hold it on another day.
