So my oldest girl was just confirmed tonight.
Archbishop Prendergast was in attendance to administer the sacrament and he gave a homily.
Now I admit I don't remember his exact words, but the point the archbishop was that when you are confirmed, you live as a witness to your faith. So he brought the issue of Justin Trudeau, and how he will not allow pro-life candidates, and how that's not acceptable, and you have to be pro-life, and for traditional marriage; and some people will bully and tease you for your faith.
It was awesome to hear a Catholic archbishop stand up for the Catholic faith and the right to life.
