Feminists will scream about criminalizing pregnant women, I'm sure.
I don't have a problem with forcing pregnant women into rehab.
However, I have qualms about the domestic violence angle.
Would this be a case of the partner being guilty until proven innocent? Consider a dysfunctional relationship where the woman accuses the man of domestic violence to get back at him. Should he lose access to his kid because of this measure?
Also: why would a woman want to remain in a relationship plagued by domestic violence? Wouldn't she want out? Why does she have to sign a contract?
