Telling Your Children About Your Abortion

Julie at Concerned for Life tells the story of a friend who spoke to a small group of women about her abortion:

One thing she shared with us on Friday was the importance of telling her children about her abortion. This, she said, would break the cycle of abortion and bring generational healing. I hadn't realised how important that was until she said it. But it is perfectly obvious. Now that her son and daughters know of their mother's pain over this, do you really think they will ever consider abortion for themselves? Not likely.

And while confession is necessary for the person directly involved, it also benefits all the family members and friends around.
