The other day, my eight-year-old and I were discussing the song "Video Killed the Radio Star". (Because we listen to oldies in my house).
I was trying to explain the premise of the song, so I sang to her the lyrics:
In my mind and in my car,
we can't rewind, we've gone too far.
She asked me "Mom, what's 'rewind"?
As they say in French: j'ai eu un coup de vieux. I was suddenly struck with old age.
