I think I'd be more understanding if the targeted church was Catholic. After all, there's only one Catholic Church. If you don't make it into the seminary, it's not like there are 30 000 other Catholic churches that cater to your lifestyle. And if it did, it wouldn't be the Catholic Church.
But as it stands, the guy just had to pick on the Anglican Church. Like there aren't a bunch of clones out there that cater to his lifestyle.
Nobody has ever succeeded in campaigning against the Church to change her doctrines. Never happened, never will.
