I wish this could be an opportunity for right-wingers. But I don't hold out much hope.
The problem is not just the government, it's the legal profession.
So long as the legal profession tends to be liberal, Canada will remain liberal.
And pro-lifers, forget banning abortion while lawyers support legal abortion.
Maybe we should shift away our focus from MP's and focus on lawyers.
When lawyers and doctors don't want abortion to be legal, it won't be. And it doesn't matter what the rest of the population says.
