North Dakota Legislature Passes First Personhood Amendment

A fetus is a human being
This amendment will go to a vote in 2014.

This is a historic moment.

I believe that the ballot question is uncertain to say the least. Just because it has failed in other States doesn't mean it will fail here. But fetal rights proponents probably have an uphill battle.

Nonetheless, it's still a positive sign. We are inching closer and closer to having fetal personhood enshrined in law.

As long as we keep at it, we will eventually succeed.

Although I think the exact phrase is "dictatorship of relativism". Oh well! :)
