First off, it could be appealed to SCOTUS.
Secondly, there are plenty of countries in the world that protect the "right to life" that allow abortion. Germany comes to mind.
Still, this is progress.

The Unborn Child is a Person with Rights: Alabama Supreme Court
I expect that it won't outlaw abortion immediately.
