There is definitely a growing group of Latin Mass lovers out there.
They are still a small fraction of all active Catholics.
It is not "trendy". They are simply more vocal than other Catholics.
There is still only one Traditional Latin Mass parish in Ottawa. I'm sure it's filled to the rafters every Sunday. But most Catholics still attend the ordinary rite of the Mass, i.e. in English.
I don't say this to denigrate anyone. But the headline is wrong. It overblows the actual phenomenon.
