I'm happy for the existence of fetal surgery and grateful for the contributions of Michael Harrison, but I'm ambivalent about the field of maternal-fetal medicine because it contributes to fetal deaths by performing late-term abortions. It only advocates for the unborn when the mother doesn't want to terminate the baby's life.
