One of the reasons that pro-lifers had trouble conveying their message is the shrillness of the abortion debate in the eighties and nineties.
Once abortion was legalized, and abortion opponents raised the decibel level, people were not interested in listening to people scream at each other any more.
If we want people to listen to what we have to say, then we have to communicate in a way that will incline them to listen.
Acting angry is the best way to turn people off.
Let the feminists act angry and hysterical. Ever notice they think we shriek? It's all projection. They're the ones who shriek.
And then they resent you when you point out their angry shrieking only serves to alienate people.
But whatever.
Calm, objective presentation of the facts and arguments will ultimately win.
Reality always wins in the end. You can't make reality what you want it to be. Reality is: abortion kills a human being, and it violates human rights.
