You probably know the news by now-- the Mississippi Personhood Amendment was defeated.
I simply wanted to say to those who put it on the ballot: thank you.
Because it wasn't a complete loss.
Because of your efforts, fetal personhood got on the radar here in Canada. It meant that people had to confront the issue of the right to life. For this I am grateful.
Don't be discouraged. It took three tries to get a partial birth abortion ban passed.
