27 per cent actually voted for it.
That really perks me up.
Twenty-seven per cent of voters from Colorado were ready to uphold the equality of the unborn from conception.
That's amazing.
Considering that some pro-life groups opposed the measure, that's even more amazing.
They only have to win 24 per cent more support, and it will pass.
Supporting the rights of the unborn from conception is seen as "extreme" and a "marginal" position.
When a quarter of your population supports a measure, you can't say it's a marginal belief any longer.
And the "extremist" label becomes something of a misnomer. Believing that the unborn are people-- at some point in the pregnancy-- is now a mainstream belief.
It seems that the people who support abortion-on-demand in the third trimester are the ones who are extreme.
