This is the blog of a couple from India who run a home for baby girls who were unwanted by their parents. If you scroll down, you can see pictures of some of the babies that were saved.
These newborns were all supposed to be killed, but this couple arranges to save these babies, often with bribes.
I was shocked to learn that not only were the babies killed for their gender, but also for their skin tone. One baby was not considered "beautiful" because of her dark skin. (And as you will see, she is positively adorable).
The couple runs a house with staff and they raise the children.
I thought it made for very interesting reading.
