Exactly how stupid do Epps and Co think we are? Do they sincerely believe that we cannot see through this attempt to open the door to all manner frivolous criminal court cases and civil litigation?
Once we start down this slippery slope, we’ll be hearing endless rounds of lawsuits and court challenges from the unborn victims of car theft, fraud, and software piracy!
“I can’t wait for this bill to pass,” enthused Buffy Martin-Biddle, “My foetus was extremely upset when he heard he was denied admission to the Oxford Learning Centres ‘Little Readers’ Program. He is far more intelligent than all the other pre-babies in my prenatal book club. This is obviously a case of age discrimination.”
The women and families who lost their fetuses deserve better. They are not on their side.
