ProLifeProWoman.org takes a different approach to abortion.The premise of the blog is that the way to get rid of abortion in Canada is to make it culturally unacceptable, not by legislating prohibition.
I do believe we need a major cultural shift in this country, and ProLifeProWoman.org is certainly a step in the right direction. However, I am not simply pro-life for "pro-woman" reasons. My number one reason for being pro-life is that I believe in the equality of all human beings, including the unborn, and that the protection of the unborn must be legally recognized.
Even though cultural change is the first step, it is necessary to work in the political arena. Pro-lifers are building the stepping stones for the acknowledgement of fetal rights in this country. That groundwork needs to be done.
Having said all that, I think it's worth visiting. They make valid points and are certainly useful in advancing the Culture of Life.
