Is it me, or is Chrétien a little too eager to testify?

Do you suppose that Jean Chrétien wants to testify for the Mulronry-Schreiber in order to embarrass political enemies? He just sounds a wee bit eager.

And another question: what exactly will this inquiry be about? I see to get different versions of that every hour. Some say it will be about Mulroney and whether he abused power. Others say it will be about whether Harper knew about the letter written by KarlHeinz Schreiber. Some want it to include Schreiber's relationship with the Liberals.

What's the deal here? I know-- David Johnston will figure that out. Still. Why was this inquiry called in the first place?
