You may have noticed that my blogging has been lighter than usual.
That's because I've been working on a new project.
I've revamped BigBlueWave.ca and made it into a news gathering site.
It's perhaps not the work of a premier web programmer, but it gets the job done.
I hope you can all bookmark it and return to it often.
I decided to start this because I think there is a strong need for another news gathering source, especially a Canadian one. Lifesite does an excellent job, and the purpose is not to replace Lifesite, but to complement it.
There are so many news stories of interest to SoCons out there that the news sources that are out there and Lifesite can't field them all, so I've decided to put them on my website. I'll put a few in the morning and add during the day when I can.
Why not just put them on my blog?
I want to keep my blog for personal commentary. So far, I find it a bit tough to do both-- keep a blog and BigBlueWave.ca But I do think it needs to be done.
I've also added a column for posts from around the Canadian blogosphere from those blogs that I know have social conservative material.
So far I'm pleased with the product. I've received some good comments. I hope that it becomes a major source of news for people. That would be my definition of success.
