So conservatives, genuine conservatives, have a choice. Hold on to the current system, and hope for a Harris-style change of government every 50 years or so. Or take a chance on something new, and start changing minds today.
I could not agree more. As I've said, MMP provides competition and thereby accountability. If the base is not happy with the biggest conservative party, it can park its vote with a smaller party, and not feel it has to compromise.
