From an op-ed in the Vancouver Sun:
Why is there such faint-hearted silence among Canadians who pride themselves on their rights and freedoms but who continue to dismiss any rights of unborn children or lack the courage to utter any discussion of the A-word?
Just as the world, especially the United Nations, does nothing about the genocide in Darfur, how can we continue to be silent and sedentary on abortion?
The time is long overdue for media, politicians and all Canadians who believe in rights, freedoms and compassion to break this silence.
