The town council of St-Roch-de-Méckinac has unanimously voted a resolution to change the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in order to put an end to "reasonable accommodations". source.
The resolution was sent to officials responsible for immigration.
This after a meeting between the provincial regional minister for the area, Jules Boulet-- and ten mayors in the region on Thursday. source.
Other small village councils, such as Grandes-Piles, Trois-Rives, St-Adelphe and Lac-aux-Sables, are expected to address the issue. source.
Whoa. Sounds like this is really catching on.
