Do you love unborn children?

I don't usually post pro-life apologetics on this blog. It's not that I don't believe them. But I think of the audience of this blog as being more pro-fetal-rights or leaning towards fetal rights. So I don't feel the need to preach to the converted.

However, I am sure through Google searches and chance clicking of links, those who favour legalized abortion make their way to this blog.

I would just like to raise this question:

Do you love unborn children?

Many people do love unborn children as persons. That is not a sociological fiction. Obstrectians often treat the unborn child as a patient along with the mother. The Criminal Code of Canada acknowledges the existence of the unborn child (though not his personhood).

If we love our own unborn children, we can't restrict that love to only our own offspring. The unborn children of other women share in the same human nature, the same spark that makes humanity so great.

We can't simply say that only our own unborn children deserve love. All unborn children do.
