December 18th is the Feast of Our Lady of Expectation. Catholic Church Conservation has a whole bunch of posts and pictures dedicated to this relatively obscure feast. I'd never heard of it until now.The Old Catholic Encyclopedia has an article on it.
So we have the Feast of the Annunciation announcing the beginning on March 25th, and the Feast of the Expectation on December 18th. That ties in nicely.
