"Masturbation is murder" argument: stupid is as stupid does

There are some pretty stupid arguments for legalized fetus-killing out there. Some people try to make fetal rights advocates look ridiculous, completely oblivious to how stupid they sound to begin with, because they're obviously ignorant of the rudiments of biology.

Case in point: Eugene Plawiuk's Le [sic!] Revue Gauche.

He's trying to make it sound like a sperm is equivalent to human beings.

Which is biologically ridiculous.

Sperm do not live up to the definition of an organism. Zygotes do.

He thinks the fact that sperm have RNA and influence embryo development is a sign that the Church considers sperm human.

Human beings have 46 chromosomes. Sperm do not. Zygotes, in the correct environment, grow into embryos, fetuses, and eventually adults. Sperm do not (which means they have the correct morphological structure to be considered a human being). A zygote is an organism. A sperm is not.

By all the laws of biology, a zygote is a human being. A sperm is not.

Anyone who thinks the Church believes masturbation is murder (or should) is ridiculously ignorant about basic biology. In fact, abortionists will tell you they are taking life and killing human beings.

If only the pro-aborts would accept the reality of what they advocate, this debate might get somewhere, instead of being based going in circles because of adolescent attempts at cleverness.
