In short: Terrence Prendergast, the Jesuit archbishop of Halifax and a former Toronto auxiliary may replace Cardinal Ambrozic of Toronto.

No word on Marcel Gervais, whom everyone knows will resign in June.

Archbishop Meagher of Kingston is suffering from cancer and he is not doing too well (I also heard that from another acquaintance of mine).

You gotta hope that Pope Benedict puts some people in there who'll kick some butt on disciplinary issues.
