I am disappointed, but this was not unexpected. It was a bit of a legal longshot to begin with.
Sandra Cano, the "Doe" of "Doe v. Bolton" attempted to have the ruling overturned. This case was the companion case to Roe v. Wade that allowed legalized abortion. Sandra Cano said she had never wanted an abortion in the first place and was pushed into having one by an aggressive ACLU attorney.
Some of the commenters on Open Book (from which I got the information) are not unhappy, in the sense they thought it was the wrong case to bring to the court.
