In Sweden, abortion on demand legal until 18 weeks

In Sweden, that bastion of redneck conservatism, abortion on demand is legal until 18 weeks according to this article.

In Britain, the limit is 24 weeks. In France, 12 weeks. In Germany, 10 weeks.

But here in Canada, it's legal right up until the baby takes a breath.

Every time there is a suggestion of an abortion law in Canada, the feminists shriek that it's restricting "a woman's right to choose".

Yet these countries aren't exactly known for their pro-life activism (although Britain is gettin' there).

The article I pointed to noted that wait times are unacceptably long for chemical abortions.

If they don't get the death pill in time, they have to get the surgical version.

If the federal departement Status ever got its way, as per this blogpost, it's perfectly conceivable that the feminists would force the federal government to pay for ALL abortions, and if wait times are unacceptable to them, they could force the government to put resources into reducing them at the expense of other procedures.

Because you know that abortion is sancrosanct to feminists, and if a few people have to wait longer in pain for hip surgery, well so be it, as long as they get their abortions.

UPDATE: For the link up there that didn't work, try this.

I just couldn't get the HTML to work for some strange reason.
