I was just reading a post from Vulture's Row about an article at sfgate.com which can be found here:

He writes of his outrage at the lefties protesting a rally by Evangelical teens denouncing immorality.
This is one comment from an elected official that really irked me:
That's bad news to Assemblyman Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, who told counterprotesters at City Hall on Friday that while such fundamentalists may be small in number, "they're loud, they're obnoxious, they're disgusting, and they should get out of San Francisco."
Can you imagine an elected official saying THAT?
I wonder if that would pass the test of hate crime laws in Canada...oh wait, they're Christians, what am I thinking?
